An adorable Maltese puppy is on a mission to learn how to be good. Darcy, born on November 30, 2019, is about four pounds of pure fluff and determination. She has been selected as our Pet of the Week.
An Adorable Maltese Puppy in Training
Darcy is in training now. The basics are being mastered by her with outstanding progress. Commands like "sit," "stay," and "fetch" are being learned at record speed. Her trainers are impressed. A star pupil is emerging in her class.
Her fluffy white fur makes her look like a tiny cloud on paws. Passersby often stop to admire her. Compliments are being showered upon her wherever she goes.
Learning How to Be Good
Her owners, Bernie and Judie, watch with pride as Darcy learns how to be good. Treats are being earned with every new command she masters. She might be small, but her ambitions are big. Toys are being collected, and squeaky ones are her favorite.
At home, she's applying her training in the cutest ways. Slippers are being retrieved instead of hidden, and socks are being left untouched. Laughter fills the house when Darcy proudly demonstrates her new skills. Even the cat seems impressed by her improved behavior.
Stealing Hearts While Learning
She is an absolute doll, they say. A wonderful dog has joined their lives, and they feel so lucky. Neighbors are charmed not only by her cuteness but also by her good manners. Darcy's tail wags bring smiles to everyone she meets.
Visits to the park are the highlight of her day. Other dogs are greeted politely, and playtime is enjoyed with newfound friends. Her training is evident in every interaction.
A Bundle of Joy Making Progress
Darcy's personality is as bright as her fur. Her favorite spot is on the couch, where she practices "stay" while snuggling with Bernie and Judie. TV shows are watched together, though Darcy prefers the ones with animals.
Meal times are an event. Kibble is devoured with gusto, but only after sitting patiently as taught. Occasionally, a treat from the table is sneaked to her, much to her delight.
Celebrating Success
Outfits are tried on by Darcy without fuss, a testament to her good behavior. Tiny sweaters and adorable bows are part of her wardrobe. Photos are taken to capture her stylish looks, and social media is charmed by her pictures.
